There’s a ton of different keto protein powder on the market these days, and it can be hard to know which are legit and which aren’t. We’ve collected the top keto-friendly supplements from the pros who know their supplements (and their products) best.
Keto protein powder is a supplement used most commonly by dieters on a carb restricted diet. Most protein powders are moderate in carbs, low in fat, and high in protein. However, keto protein powder is usually high in protein, low (usually zero) carbs, and mid-high in fats. LC dieters prefer these low carb protein powders to help keep them in ketosis.
Note About Powder Types
If you’ve come from the athletic community, no doubt you’re familiar with the term whey protein. However, in keto circles there’s another popular protein and those are collagen proteins.
It’s important to know the differences between the two and how they affect your diet. Keto dieters have unique nutrition needs and deficiencies are common.
This can be an issue for keto dieters who also increase activity by working out, which I recommend! Glucose can be a used as a tool to accelerate muscle and tissue growth. Therefore, growing and maintaining lean tissue is hard when we cut glucose sources in keto diets.
Because of this, collagen protein powders can be a great addition to your diet. Additionally, there are a lot of other health benefits.
With that being said, there are still other whey protein products I think are very solid. With that in mind, here is what I found for the best keto protein powders!
Keyto Collagen Protein Powder with MCT Oil
Whether you’re on a ketogenic diet or not, “Keyto” keto collagen protein powder with mct oil is the best of both worlds: it has all the benefits of a keto diet while having a full amino acid profile. This protein powder is made by collagen, which will help with keto joint pains associated with the keto flu.

This is a grass-fed product, which makes this a choice powder for keto dieters and people who prefer organic options.
Despite this being organic, it will provide all many amino acids, but it will not include carbs that will knock you out of ketosis.
For this reason, I prefer Keyto protein powder because it is truly a keto-friendly product that helps with me recover from my morning runs.
This product is gluten free, and it is lactose-free. It also has no sugar and is sweetened with Stevia.

Orgain Keto Collagen Protein Powder with MCT Oil
When it comes to low-carb protein powders, it’s hard to stand out from the pack. That’s why Orgain’s entry makes this list – it really does everything right.
The all-natural all-in-one protein powder helps you stay in ketosis by adding a extra dose of MCT to your diet.
Just like Keyto, this all-purpose protein powder has collagen and MCT and is an excellent choice for those on a ketogenic diet.
This powder will provide you with a steady flow of MCT to keep you from feeling sluggish. This also uses stevia as its sweetener so you won’t get kicked out of ketosis.
It will also be available in different sizes, so you can personalize your Orgain powder to best suit your own dietary needs and preferences.
Perfect Keto Collagen
If you’re looking for a low-carb, all-purpose protein powder, look no further. The all-natural kind is unflavored, so you can add other low carb flavors you already eat. There are other flavors, too, for a variety of palettes.
If you’re on a LC diet, you most likely have low carb substitutes for traditionally high sugar foods. One of the notable ingredients is chocolate. There are many sugar free chocolate products.
I have personally had the chocolate Perfect Keto Collagen powder and it compares best to chocolate milk, believe it or not. If you’re someone looking for a quick, nutritious, and tasty treat I suggest this product.
It will provide you with a steady supply of protein, without you having to plan ahead in the morning.

Isopure Zero Carb, Keto Friendly Protein Powder
This is actually the first keto protein powder I tried. I used it for about a year before I read about collagen protein powders.
I recommend Isopure Zero Carb, Keto Friendly Protein Powder for a number of reasons. Out of all the protein powders, I find this is easiest to mix and has a great taste profile. This makes it easy to take the powder with you and mix on the go.
It is a whey protein powder. It has Zero carbs like it says in the name and is gluten and GMO free.
Even though I switched to collagen powders, I still recommend Isopure powders. It’s high quality powder and I was never knocked out of ketosis while using it. If you’re not open to collagen powder, I say give this whey protein powder a try.
Quest Protein Powder
Finally, I also recommend Quest Protein Powder for keto dieters. I used this prior to finding Isopure and still think it’s a solid entry on the list.
With this powder, you will find a variety of unique flavors. In my opinion, this is the strong point.
If you’re not a fan of the traditional chocolate and vanilla flavor keto protein powders, Quest offers flavors like cinnamon crunch, cookies & cream, salted caramel, and many more. Additionally, they offer coconut and mct oil powders to give you a boost of energy.
If you read my MCT oil post, you’ll know that all MCT’s are not created equal. Quest powders with protein have the more beneficial form, C8, in addition to C10 and C12.
I also find the texture to be spot on. If you’re looking for a powder that makes you feel more full, I suggest this one. It can help you power through the morning and limit calories throughout the day.
In conclusion, this is my list of protein powders I find most beneficial on a low carb diet. I have tried many different powders and think this is a solid list for you to explore. With that being said, I’d like to know your favorites. Leave a comment below and let us know what you think.
